Hey,
I may get up to Tahoe later in the week and I want a fun ride. I have only done the Flume trail and the Mt Rose downhills. Any suggestions?

I hear Toads trail is GREAT, killer, fun technical
Sorry I don't remember here it is . I'm sure the bike shops up there do.

mr toads!!! if you meet some of the locals up there they'll take you to some killer dh trails. northstar is fun <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

The last time I was up there riding was back in 1993. There were plenty of trail maps available at the bike shops in S. Lake Tahoe. I remember some nice downhills up at the north end of the lake. It might be a bit late to ride the ski slopes though. They might be prepping them for snow if it hasn't already started up that way. I was going to tell you to check the webcams but they're down right now.

According to the Weather channel, it' still getting up into the high 50's, so perhaps the snow is a way off. But you can never tell up there. I've seen chain control over Donner Pass in June before.
