Help me pick a seat for my fat ass
I have a Schwinn Moab 2 and after every ride it feels like an angry midget used my ass/taint region as a punching bag. I need some seat reccomendations.
I also have heard there are nerves down there that can be damaged and make your junk not work correctly. I woud like to avoid that.

Padded shorts for the win. Don't buy cheap shorts or you will be back bitchen again. Saddle adjustment, if your saddle is nose high, make it flat. If it is flat lower it just a few degrees in the front. Also make sure it is correctly centered on your seat post

Ok. I think it is pointing up a bit. I am getting a gel seat and will adjust it down a bit so it isn't spearing my taint.

I got a Bontrager male specific gel seat a few years ago... no longer get any burning after riding. I don't see it offered anymore... just under $30 at a bike shop if I recall correctly
![]() ![]() similar to this one... but different shape and not vinyl http://bontrager.com/model/09875

Get a Koobi and never look back! Seriously!
http://www.koobi.com/koobisiclassicgel.aspx The pricier ones are not as gel soft as the original. Well worth $90! |
