I have had this for a while in the hopes of putting together a DH bike but have since lost interest, I am asking 300.00 for the whole deal; It is an AC conversion of a manitou EFC, pretty rare, kind of vintage these days but still has 6" of travel, it has a formula disc with a carbon hub and a mavic DH rim with IRC missile tire on it, also comes with a king headset 1 1/8" control tech stem and azonic riser bars. The brake and wheel combo are worth the 300 alone, sorry for the lack of pics, I have some at home I will post asap, let me know if anyone has any interest

I'm assuming the lever, caliper, and cable don't come with the rotor?? I have a friend that may be interested, post some pics when you can, and I'll forward the thread to him...

IIRC it is a 1998 EFC and the AC kit is the longer sliders and the triple clamp arrangement - this fork originally had ~3 of travel and then was converted to a 6" fork by the AC kit and the new springs...
The bracket for the caliper bolts on the top and yes that is a hose clamp - I was the only thing that could fit into the space between the rotor/ fork tube space without going crazy fancy... (if you could not tell the bracket is a one off custom job.... Everything you see in the pictures (including a silver King headset - not shown) goes with the selling price... The whole deal is ready to be bolted up and run as is... Matt |

Yeah - now that I think about it more it must have been late 96 or early 97 when I started putting it together...
Anyway you slice it this fork is from the dawn of serious downhill racing I suppose I might check e-bay fr a larger audience if no one is interested here... Thanks Matt |
