Ah Crap, I think I got Poison Oak but the ride was great

I'm feeling a bit itchy today hopefully It's just the idea of endoing off the trail down into the creek

Sara and I went to Skyline park in Napa yesterday with my mom and her bike club.

I haven't ridden with them guys in about six years it was good to see that I could almost keep up with the fast guys.

I guess my wife was leading the group of the moderate paced people.

I can't climb worth shiat any more I need to really start riding more.

Well any way we were on this nice creek trail (all single track )
Trai split I decided to take the low route and wam I hit a big fawking rock hiding.
Went flying over the bars head first. Landed on my head with my handle bars still in my hands
Luckily it was a soft landing unfortunetly it was rasberry and poision oak bushes.

I guess Sara crashed a few times too. She was showing off her wounds and telling me that she remembers now how fun getting dirty and crashing was on the dirt. much better then falling on a road bike.

Looks like this weekend was what her and I needed to get our tail ends back out on our bikes.

Any one else have a nice ride over the weekend

If It turnds out that I got Poison oak I have some of that stuff to put on already.

I have had pretty good luck with washing myself off immediatly with laundry detergent after I've been exposed to the stuff.
