Mt. Diablo
Any one here biked it? I am supposed to go on a downhill ride with a buddy and a few of his friends. Just kinda wondering what it's like, other than a long ride down.

I've biked down it once, usually prefer to hike it though.
One time while hiking, me and my friend got kinda lost, and ended up bushwhacking about 1 mile through shoulder high shrubbery... not fun. As for biking: Its a long ride down, like you said. Nothing much to say about it, it can be fun, just forget that you have brakes, and youll do fine. |

Diablo is a long ride up and a long ride down. Nuff said. nothing too tugh on it. You'll have fun, its a good way to see how fast you can go on a bike. Don't fawking speed on the road the rangers will ticket you if you're over 20. Not sure if the same rule applies to the trails but look out for the rangers and be nice.
