Mainly Santiago Oaks and Laguna/Aliso locally, along with some other spots. I have taken the bike on numerous Northstar/Mammoth trips and have no problem rolling with all the DH bikes. I have had DH bikes and they are definitely more plush and easier to go faster on, but the Knolly handles everything pretty well.

Don't think I've posted in here already, so here she is. 11' Norco Shore 2 I picked up this summer. Bought a 11' Rock Shox BoXXer RC off eBay last week for $525 shipped, and threw it on yesterday, this fork rocks!!! Needs a Revolution 32 wheelset and it should be enough for me for a while.

Queenstown, NZ. I just got back from my honeymoon an was lucky enough to get a day of riding in. There is a lift literally in town that's a 5 minute ride to the top. It was epic.
Here's a vid of one of the runs. Queenstown DH - YouTube |

I had the pleasure of working there for a few years. Awesome company, awesome product, competitive pricing, hard to argue with...
I grew up racing/ riding in the bay area. If I ever move back, It would be one of my top pics for work. ( Again)

Must be nice! I would love a carbon Nomad. Where did you ride? UC, Demo, etc?

some seriously nice bikes in here. I had to start cheap so I went used for my first bike. seems to be a well built bike with some really nice upgrades. only thing I've changed so far was the grips. picked up a spare tube, pump, and presta valve adapter as well. have some pedals on the way.
rode it twice so far and really like it. no trails yet (not enough free time) Access XCL Forte TerraMax rims Rock Shox Toro forks all Shimano Deore XT stuff TruVativ crank ![]() only pic I have right now and this was right before I bought it. it's lighter than my sons bmx bike! I'm sure I'll be asking tons of questions at some point on what to change/upgrade. new to this side since I grew up riding bmx and have been doing so since I was 13 (43 now).
