I'm coming over from the 4x4 realm... I want to get into Mountain biking- trails, rough terrain, etc... Where should i start?

Anyone got one for sale? less than $500 bones...

Look on mtbr.com for sale section. There are lots of bike in that price range.
I would stick with a hard trail for starters.
