Anyone going to Sea Otter? I was planning doing the dual slalom. It would be the first time trying it.

Brandon and I are doing the cross country race.

anyone know how technical/big the downhill course is. I think I wanna see how slow I am on my Iron Horse 7.3. 5th element shock and and 07 888 rc2x va

I'll be there doing the cross country race. A group of about 8 make a long weekend out of it. Bike race, Expo, watch the other races, BBQ & Beer... You'll have a BLAST!

As far as the downhill, it's pretty cool. I've never rode it, but we check out a few parts of the run while were there. I watched a guy break his leg coming off a jump last year.

Bring some $$... because the Vendor Expo has some great deals. I usually stock up on all my tubes & tires for the year there. The Kenda deals are unheard of. Plus clothing vendors blowout some of their prior year inventory. Shop early and shop offten.

the DH course at the otter is not technical at all. The thing is full of man made bridges, jumps, and drops.

Second on the DH course. Its pretty mellow, and if you have any skill on that bike, you should be fine. I ran it once but just don't feel like spending that much money for it, you just dont get as many runs really. I LOVE the DS. I wish I lived there still, I grew up in Toro Park riding those trails every day :(

I will be there racing DS and my wife the DH. The DH is not tech but not smooth by anymeans. Minnar won it last year on a V10 and thats a big bike for a so called smooth course. You will be fine on your7 point.
