well yesterday my fat 260 pound self rode the farthest I've ever riden. 23 miles. which is a lot to me. just started back riding. all this was on city streets and highways around savannah GA...
took 2 hours and 15 min. It'd help if I had a newr bike.. all I have is a POS nishiki 8 year old bare bones mtn bike... oh well it gets the job done. just wanted to share with yall.. |

Get out there man, I have gone from 245 to 203 this morning in about 4 months. Ride 4-5 days a week for at least 30-50 minutes a day. Right on and good luck.

good job, remember to keep it fun and interesting so it doesn't seem like work.
if you don't already have road tires on your mtn bike, installing a set of 1.25"-1.50" slicks will make the mtn bike less miserable on longer road rides. |
