Mountain bike question........
I am looking for a half decent mountain bike to go trail riding with my dad and brother. Not looking to do anything crazy with it and budget is tight. I found this on craigslist. My questions are: Is it a decent bike? and what should I pay for it?
thanks. http://slo.craigslist.org/bik/2183894882.html

If everything works, for $100 it seems like a great bike. My wife rides a gary fisher, its a good bike.

Ah, still a great bike. Buy it and swap in a Rock Shox Dart. ~$230 bucks and your rollin smooth.

Even with a busted fork it's still a good deal. I would try to haggle more if the tires need replacing too. And we do have a mountain bike forum. Of course cycle through the gears before you buy it to make sure all the components work.

Yep, still a good deal. I think we paid $700 plus for the wife's 3 years ago. You'd want to replace the front shock eventually anyway.
