Planetary axle identification?

Who can tell me what this axle is? Obviously some planetary axle. A guy is selling a pair, both steer axles. He didnt seem to know much about them. Not sure where to start with searching, I havent seen them in person so dont know of any ID tags. Look possibly like rockwell prc673 axles? I guessing they are heavy as shit, any ideas on gearing? If anyone can point me in the right direction I can find out the rest, just not sure what they are. Thanks

I dont currently need this kind of beef, but they are cheap and I might stash them away for future a project if they are worth buying..

Looks like Rockwell PS-250 judging by the hubs. The corners (from the flanged connection on the housing out) are somewhat popular in the Monster Truck world.

Looks like a PS201/205 or 250. Could be one or two piece knuckle.... Heavy as hell the way they sit and a bitch to work with, but if you know what to shove in the middle, the ends can be used to make a pretty bad axle.

What is he asking for the pair? I'll take em' off your hands if you don't need them.

i've got some pie pan pettibones and (2) 5 ton gov't rebuild rears if you're in the market.

Thanks. I think you are right. They look real similar to these in the picture below, which are some 250's being sold.

Yeah they look heavy as shit in a tiny pic, cant imagine moving the big bitches around. Im gonna go check em out and ill post back my findings.

PM what you're looking to get out of them. I take it they haven't been put together yet, so give me a price for all of it and for just the ends as well. Just don't expect me to pay monster jam prices for them.....I know you didn't

Which brings me to this....

On the another hand..... I hate to say it, but I'm under the assumption that all of this old junk is very rapidly approaching obsolescence.(JMO) Parts are hard to find and expensive, plus there are so many "new" and probably better types of goodies popping up in yards everyday. That, and the current "standards" are dwindling down into short supply, which, as a result, has made the prices on what's left blister up; it's a perfect recipe for change....

That is a PS205. Whats the #"s and gear ratio on the tag of the housing? Depending which third member it has depends on the inner axle spline.
