I almost moved my vacation but it was so packed last year I think I'll skip out this year. As soon as I finish my Jeep (March?) a few of us are planning a weekend trip just to go and work the bugs out. I just built a small Yota for my cousin and he's itching to go try it out. I'll let you know when we go.

Yep me and some friends plan to make it again this year some from south texas and north louisiana. I am ditching the 49" irocs i have on the truck for some 14.9x28 R2"s just have to clean up the rims and order my wheel centers!

no, it broke the whole rearend and bent one of the axle tubes, a stearling 10.5, i don't really know how much lift, between 12-14" i guess i made all the lift parts myself.

We been plannin on goin for two years now to at least watch, but every time we end up breakin somethin the day before.. would a truck with a 8" lift and 40" tires be able to go thru any of that?

oh yeah, u just stay out of the big holes, they have trucks with small tires and lift then that that go all the time.

Awesome. You have any suggestions on tires? I'm about to add the 2" to get to an 8" lift but I haven't actually decided on which tire to get. I was thinking probably LTB 16/40-15 (if I can find them anywhere), but I want to get the tire that works best in the mud (already got street tires, so they don't have to be street legal)
