can anyone tell me who or where i can get the mating plate so i can connect my GM Turbo 400 to a Muncie 4 speed. This is going on a swamp buggy. Thanks

If I understand your question right I think you'd need some kind of splined coupling. To connect the output of the auto to the input of the muncie?

So, you are connecting a automatic transmission to a manual transmission?

Are you going to run a clutch between the auto and the manual? If not how are you going to shift the manual tranny when the auto is not in park?

Seems to me like the 4 speed is simply a cheap ass gear reduction box. Put 4 speed in granny low, and put the auto in gear. Yes?

I remember a buddy having one set up with a clutch. Was wild hearing him dump the clutch & then the auto going through the gears. T18 (maybe NP435?) & C6 IIRC.

Its actually quite easy. Used to drive mine around in 3rd gear in town, kick it into 4th on the highway.

when i was younger adding a second tranny was pretty common,my neighbor had 2 trannys in his 56 plymouth so he could tow his bulldozer.
