Clutch and flywheel options/opinions?

Long story short I need a new clutch for my setup (ranger ~3000lbs, 38.5x11 boggers, will be upgrading to the skinny 42's within a year, stroked out nascar headed 434 ford, est 700-800hp, toploader 4sp, 5.38 gears, locked, coilovers, and everything to hold it together). Last clutch setup i had worked(s) great, never had an issue, tried to get another one to work with the large input shaft i switched to, as a local shop did it but I can't track the info down as i never ordered it.

So, first things first, flywheel . . . . i want an SFI certified flywheel so if/when it (or the crank) gernades i don't lose a leg, I can get a steel one, or an aluminum version. Cost for this doesn't matter, for the mud do the benefits of the the lighter aluminum version outweigh those of the heavier steel? The motor will be a high reving powerplant pushing a light truck, so I'm thinking lightweight would be a plus.

Second, clutch, I want a no slip durable clutch (perferably single disc as this is the mud and I'm concerned that a twin disc would have issues with the additional moving parts). I need it to be a 12" unit and work with a 1.375 10 spling ford toploader input. Now for cost I'd like to try to keep it reasonable (IE sub 600 if possible), any recommendations? Again mud bog/drags will be the main usage.

Thanks.

Not changing to auto right now, that's about two years out, so don't even bother trying to convince me (yes I know it's better performance wise, but cost wise I can't afford to build a proper C6 right now).

If you buy new, half of your "budget" will be eaten up by the SFI approved flywheel.
I'm more of a truck puller guy, but would think for mud, you would want the steel flywheel, but am not that well versed on that.
I would also suggest a 2 disc clutch set up.
Hays or Mcleoud if you prefer a "pedal" clutch, crower if you want a "centrifugal" style clutch.
You may find it less expensive in the long run, to bite the bullet and build your C6 now.

Mcleod...their double discs can handle whatever you can throw at them but even if you want to avoid them for cost/use their high end single discs is who I'd still use.
