I've been looking at getting a set of these but I really don't need them. That's a price tag on some big taars!

I agree with you. 18" wide is crazy. But they are 44" tall. Which helps.

I emailed them and asked if they are indeed 18" wide and not 19.5". They only have the 19.5" wide ones listed on their website. Im going to order them and keep them for a rainy day. These are about $775 a tire new.

I have a set on my 79 on TWF beadlocks. I can't even find the "blemish" on them. Great deal if you are looking for a set of 44's.

Fuck it. i called and ordered a set. The lady at Interco said that the 18" width was special ordered and these are selling as extras. They arent regularly listed in the available tire sizes on their website. She also said that the tires are "first grade" whcih she said meant that they do not have any blems on them. They are however not DOT approved. Not a problem for me. I hope they measure smaller than the 44" like most interco tires do. I pick them up at Interco on Friday.

I have been running a set of these for 3 years, mounted on 8.25" wheels at 9.5 psi mine measure 15.75" wide. My particular set was made in India. They are not a blem 19.5, they are a different tire with a narrower carcass and more side lug.
Beside my old 38.5x11's:

More pics of them in my build thread.

Thanks! The new holland is pretty handy to have around. My 44X18's measure like 42'' tall when aired up to 30 psi.

I have had a set of these since the first time they were available. I still have yet to put them to the test though, other then holding my truck up! They are mounted on stock H1's with TWF's inserts.

Here they ate in all of their glory. Off the rim they measure a little over 40". Can't wait to get my suspension set up around these. Should work out well.
