Here is what I did. Ive seen others take out even more, but mine worked great in mud like this and still did ok on the street. You shouldnt see any wear on them, they are made for vehicles 4 times heavier than your truck.

No, but my picture is a little warped and the tires are on the old duece split rims that I think are only 8" wide. So they look thinner than they really are.

on my buddies setup he ran the 46" mich. they did good except for the tread was pretty close and they tended to pack full of mud if you were in some deep thick stuff. he has sinced swapped out to a smaller v-tread. so i decided after seeing this i have went in and cut out out every other row on my 52" mich. i haven't had the oppurtunity to test yet, but they look damn close to a v tread pattern, so i am confident that they will rip and clean.
also as long as you got the gears/motor, and keep them cleaning you would be o.k. and like stated above, yes they will last a long time...... |
