Tractor tire question

Hello everyone. Newbie here. I've been lurking for a while and finally posting. I have a jeep on 2.5 tons with a 383, currently has 44's. I want to step up to tractor tires and would like everyones opinion on these tireshttp://cgi.ebay.com/4-SWAMP-BUGGY-12...d=p3286.c0.m14. I want some thing around 46-48" max and I want really aggressive tread. I have read up that R-2's are about the best. Do any of you know if these are R-2's? Also has anyone bought from this place? They seem to have great feedback. Thanks for your help.

those are R1's....

i think a 14.9-24 is the smallest R2, but i could be wrong.

How are they? Would you recommend them over brand new boggers. Not talking price, talking performance. Also I'm not worried about breaking if I break anything then I know what I need to upgrade. If you don't recommend them what would you recommend in a 48-44" overall diameter?

those tires will out pull a 44" bogger all day long....

personally, i think a 14.9-24 is a good tire for a 2.5 ton truck. it's 49" tall.

I actually have the exact same tire and also own a set of 44in boggers and will hands down use the tractor tires for full on mudding anyday, if i go playing around in the trees and trail i like the boggers, i guess it matters as to what you wheel the most..Just my 2cents..

P.S first time post on ol PBB, liken this place....

Thanks guys I appreciate all the help. I have decided on the tractor tires. Just curious as to how you guys drill out the wheels. Is the center hole large enough to fit around the hub on the rockwells? Is it just drilling out the lug nut holes? Or do you guys buy the centers and weld them in?

Get some centers made and weld them in.
