Hill and hole races where and when?
I was watching some of the videos on youtube and thought it might be something i'd like to get into. I was wondering if there are any tracks in my area that do this kind of racing. I'm in the very southeast corner of missouri so i would be willing to drive to most of southern missouri, northern arkansas, southern illinois, western kentucky, west/middle tennessee and north mississippi. If anyone knows of these kind of races in these areas post up where and when.

There's talk of maybe doing one in NW Missouri sometime next year, but nothing set in stone. You just missed one in Kansas a few weeks ago at Kansas Badlands - word is they do not plan any for next year. We actually started with hills in Missouri Mud Racing, but took the hills out 25+ years ago for safety reasons. Right now, it's pretty much just an East Coast thing. Guys have gotten pumped up seeing the videos on the 'net, and for awhile it looked like that kind of racing would blow up all over again. But the reality of trying to do that style of racing safely is that it's prohibitively expensive - both for the track owners as well as the racers. There are some multi-millionaires backing the better tracks in the Carolinas, but most promoters don't have that kind of funding.
