Now if I did the planetary outers, the hardest part would be welding on cast iron. (I have done near enough reading on this to know anything about it though) Took the S/C apart ![]() Had to drill and extract the oil fill plug from being stripped by the previous owner. ![]() these are the rotors, the teflons flakeing off and will clog the intercooler that sits below , so I'm stripping them. little more heat from friction, and not as close of a tolerance so a small amount of boost will be lost. ![]() Also porting the case, free 20-25 hp "i'm down"![]() http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...ed+eaton+steig http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...ght=apten+port a few threads with pics if anyone may need it. the harley got a new grill shell and grill, so the 4x4 got a little upgrade ![]() ![]() putting some kc's in the fog light holes, ![]() Cut up my roll pan, (guys were are/have dovetaild what did yall take out) I've been thinking 2" on both sides?

Got my block back
![]() ![]() Forged rotating assembly, solid motor mounts. Still undecided if I'm running them or poly. ![]() ground down my shift rails /forum/general-4x4-discussion/572617-how-np-205-twin-stick-cheap.html Also been thinking of a doubler set-up http://www.northwestfab.com/203-205rebuilt.html Been looking at this set-up, I know it's not the strongest and some bolts pull out of there threads, but this will probably just be on a spare drivetrain also there cable shifters http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...RZxy-SJ5WBe2DQ do you think if I went with NWF 203/205 set-up I could also run it on the divorced 205 and just not hook up one of the cables? Started tearing down my 205 ![]() Anyone have a rebuild book they want to get rid of? or a good one to get, thanks?

Been messing around with the 205, a few good links to what has helped me.
I bought the 203/205 ATSG manual off ebay and it wasn't even as helpful. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...13125958014322 has plenty of pictures http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...np205+question And I've cleaned mine up some ![]() Rear ![]() ![]() ![]() Idler ![]() ![]() And thats where I stopped I still need to clean up some other pieces Cool comparison pic, 1310, 1350, 1410 yokes

Looks great
, no hurry up and finish. . . . . ![]() On a side note, the mod motors are one heck of a great motor, good power abd they can take a shit kicking, only downside is physical size of the overhead cam heads. You should've done this to a 3v V10 , after all add two cylinders to 5.4 and you have a 6.8 .

Want to get info on fiberglass repair from those who have expierance with it.
I'm using some samples a rep brought into work for our accounts, needless to say after staying in the warehouse for 6 months I brought the samples home for my rollpan. I haven't ever done anything with fg and itched like everything the first night. not wearing a shirt was a BAD idea ![]() Thats the sample, you cut it to size and it has a plastic sheets on both sides you peel off than stick it to what your working on. I'm working on a s/s rollpan that I cut roughly 2" out of both sides of the license plate, so I can dove tail the bed. ![]() Theres a patch I put on, I got the rollpan shipped on the cheap, b/c a stick flew up from a Lightning and put a puncture in it. ![]() Here were I'm putting it back together, should I just use just fiberglass or I was also thinking using some thin guage wire to sow it up than use fiberglass over that? Would that be a dumb idea? I made some lightweight lights ![]() Took everything off the backside and left the mounts ![]() I took the backing plate off the glovebox to save some weight, around 5lbs, by doing this I needed to figure out a different mount/hinge ![]() in doing so I needed to space the screws out so they wouldn't bottom out, I ended up using the old nylon washers I replaced on my fuel cell ![]() after different ideas of what to use as a hinge, I came up with using a radiator hose, 2"x10" piece ![]() Looking down on it, not perfect but I like it

What it looks like closed
![]() Mounted the 16" e-fans on the rear mount radiator, when these go out I was thinking of spal fans, are they that much better? ![]() Yanked the (spare drivetrain) out of the rig 4.6/4r70 and I plan on if I ever did run this thing to have the shot hooked up. 250 n/a and 400hp on tap ![]() ![]() Now I can get in there and clean up all these brackets that aren't going to be used ![]() Planning on using 2 washer tanks and pumps ![]() one tank will work like factory out of the hood, and the other tank will use some some GM squrters that mount on the wipers themselves.

Well after reading wingnuts514 post over cogs, I got to thinking I'm going to have to have some. I knew how much belt slip I get in the Harley. With mud and water covering the crank, I wasn't going to make shit for HP. I found a DMR Develop Mental Racing 35t upper in January time, so I grabbed it, and 2 weeks ago after searching hi and low I finally came across an '03-'04 cobra set, that came with a whipple 36t upper/84t lower * upper 35t * lower 84t Comes out to around 8-9# of boost I'm working some deals right now for a 103t, 120t lower so I can turn the wick up on 'er Wanting to be in the 18-20# of boost range ![]() Took the steering and A-arm brackets off the frame in front. Also took out the X above where the spare tire goes. My cameras battery went dead. Picked this up and the bottom mount, that bolts to the cab floor off fleabay. Planning on having both sticks come up through it, just have to cut it down to work. ![]() Some shifter knobs that came in ![]() Piecing together a cable shifted twin stick, good part # link http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...hlight=1338k21 Sanded the front bumper down, not exactly through buts it's about there. I've been working on the Street Scene rollpan some more. I've got one side done just need to FG the other and sand it down. ![]() Bought the rest of the motor gaskets I needed to put it together. Parts still needed to put this motor together are? And are the next to buy list items are; * Arp main studs http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-156-5401/ * Rod bearings http://www.modmaxracing.com/product_p/kngcr868si.htm * Piston rings http://www.modmaxracing.com/product_p/has2m4628.htm **** Edited for links

I went back to east Texas, last weekend and got my truck moved down to the barn. My friend ended up moving, so I had to bring the truck back home, (couldn't junk his place up anymore).
It surprisingly ran pretty smooth all the way here. ![]() Still need to clean it up alittle, but I took off the a-arms and steering bracket off. ![]() After keeping belle long enough from the water, I figured I'd take her down to the pond. BELLE. play dead! ![]() ![]() So I headed down to the pond in the G-ride, but we were stopped in our tracks. So we had to take a detour. ![]() After I got to the pond, I climbed the trolly tower to check it out and as I figured... Low, thses last couple of days have had to help. ![]() Got the 53's up off the ground, to take to get unmounted.... Damn these things are Heavy bastards.

Called up Danial at USA6x6 and he had these overnited to me, greatest CS hands down
![]() only kidding got them used, thanks Chestonscout ![]() Now on a serious note, 2 weeks ago when I was Back home I took the usual cruise I do in the Bad 429 ![]() When all of the sudden it looks like a witch is flapping around my driver front. Makes me sick... ![]() What it use to look like ![]() Since it happened I lost the chrome stripe and 429 emblem. But I've started to take the fender off the parts car. Thankfully it had the fender trim and front side marker light ![]() I had 2 clips break from so much rust, and thats going to be a pain in the ass to get, but thats another day. ![]() finally got around to finishing glassing my rollpan, still need to sand it a good bit. Took about 2" off bothsides, for a little dovetail action.

cool build. Only thing I see that maybe a problem is the np205 yokes. With a fair amount of hp we rip the ears off of the yokes so I just take standard 205 yokes and turn them down to a hub then machine a flat flange to press on and weld so it then uses the deuce driveshaft flange. It's just something to think about regardless of the driveshaft angle since I've watched my buddy break them on a pullin truck with no angle.

![]() Guys what divorced case do you think this came out of? HOLY SHIT! I dropped off some nuts and bolts to an account today and this was on a pallet when I walked by. ![]() I picked up the last pieces needed for the exhaust, still need a 4"I/Ox Magnaflow muffler ![]() I brushed my hubs, to clean 'em up to work on them without getting nasty. ![]() After cleaning them up best I could I threw a coat of primer on them ![]() Decided for ease and to keep cleaner I drilled and tapped some grease zerks in the Hubs, I'm thinking about recesing them down about 1/8" enough the nut portion of the Zerk will be even with the hub. They haven't been shipped yet, but a Lightning brother in NC has mad some cogs for himself and a few extra to sell in doing so, we've be reverse engineering some from my set and the help of a few others. Heres the final picture, after he had them, then back to lighten them up, now he just finished getting them Balanced and anodized. He really went above and beyond
Anyways enough talk, left is the 103t and the right is the Boost Freak Cog 120t ![]() Belle acting like a Beaver ![]() Back when I built it in HS it was a Mall Crawler and I had a cut through with 8-10's, so I opened it up some more to close it up with some aluminum diamond plate. Figured it work good for ease of access. Also did the driver and passenger floor boards. Same reasons, dropped a few lbs in the process ![]() cheapest/lightest way to achieve this was to use an old toolbox I already had not being used in the barn. ![]() I've decided to only run the fenders and inner liners and ditch the front all together. trying to keep the nose as light as possible on her. The liner will also keep spalsh down in the engine area. Also planning on putting the wiring harness and fuse/relay box under the dash. ideas to keep it out of the elements. ![]() Cleaned up the rear fenders, getting it ready for paint so it can go back together. plan to make mounts for the bedsides to bolt to and use a bedliner to keep mud off the radiator, battery and 20gal. cell.

It wasn't the greatest, I'd say 8-9 if I kept my foot out of it. Most of the time i hammered down everywhere I went. I'd say 4-6 in town. One time I was right outside of Houston on I-45 heading to Galveston and I was running 84 for a few miles and watched the gas guage steadily drop. Maybe a 2 or 1-1 ratio. made me cry... I motor'd out at 84mph thats all she would ever give me on the 49's. Vids in the mud??? Naw Sr. in HS and being '03 it was a little before all this new fancy technology, so to answer your question No I don't. Most all the times I put it in mud was on a whim. Quote:

No not done, just having fun building it.
I ordered up wilwood rotors for patooyees pinion brakes and I have some superlite calipers that are headed this way. Tossing the idea back and forth through emails about haveing a braket made, if I want to bolt the on as wheel brakes instead. ![]() I also have trick performance looking into making me a 3" thermostate housing spacer, so I can rotate my waterneck 180* for more of a straight shot to my rear mount radiator. I needed it to clear the fuel rail. http://trickperformanceproducts.com/ ![]() I had a buyer for the lift and front axle so I yanked them and put the truck on the ground for a little bit. ![]() While I was in I did some fishing, and oh holy hell, this wall hanger yanked me off the bank and broke my poll ![]()

I got my tails air brushed
![]() ordered up emblems to kinda fit the role for the truck, now just to paint everything, some orange pinstripping aswell ![]() 1.25"x1 RH heims, still need to order the left hand ![]() Tube adaptores ![]() Ive ordered up all s/s socket head cap"allen head" screws for the front and rear axles and np205 so I can keep down on weight and only run 2) 50 cal ammo boxes for tools on the trails. I'm doing the whole truck in them, but the motor and tranny will stay metric, due to ease of finding bolts if im not local. ![]() been talking to Motochris w/ F.O.A. about getting my front coilovers, so those are coming soon... Rangers won! Headed to the game tomorrow
