I searched for this topic but did not find exactly what I am looking for.
I am curious how the Orbit Eyes fair with on highway driving? I am looking at getting new rear leaf springs for my '78 Bronco and I read that bushings on the front hanger and Orbit Eyes on the rear is the best way to go.
My buddy looked into ordering them and called and asked this very question. Was told that both ends with orbital eyes isn't recomended for on road driving. Something to do with vibrations that would cause death wobble like symptoms. General consensus is there little over priced for the performance.
That and with a typical 6" lift the springs are 8-10" longer than stock, shackle flips don't require longer springs which means less flex.
Also with the shackle at 90* you get much droop.
Nice Tacos man! One day I want to get a first gen 4runner and make a trail only rig out of it.
