I have searched and cannot come up with a definite answer. I have a 88 4 runner on tons and the breaks are extremely soft. What is the best way to fix this?
I'm going to assume that you have verified that the brakes on the axles are bled and adjusted properly. ( yes, I know what happens when you assume.:flipoff2: ) What master/booster are you running?
Post a picture of the master and the brake's on the axles. It the only way we will know exactly what you have. A stock toy master wont push enough volume on 1ton brakes.
Ditch it for a GM master, with drums you might need a adjustable prop valve.
Sky makes a kit and so does Rockstomper, there is also some pic's on how to make one in the toy section.
