89 toyota bed removal woes

Well,

I feel dumb for asking this, but it's late and I am frustrated.

I started removing the bed off my 89 standard cab toyota.

Removed:
-6 bolts from bed to frame
-3 screws to gas filler neck
-wiring

I can see nothing at all that is keeping my bed held on, but it will absolutely not budge. I realize this is not exactly a new vehicle, but the rust is fairly minimal and I do live in Arizona. the bolts came off just fine.

Am I missing something here? Any help for my dumb question would be great. Thanks in advance.

Could have sworn there was 8 bolts from the bed to the frame, two up front, one behind rear wheel well, one near the end of the bed (on each side)

Maybe that is second gen...best of luck :)

Thanks for the replies everyone.

So, everyone that said there were 8 bolts was correct. I didn't see the two in the back that don't go through the entire frame. I guess I should stop working on my truck when it gets dark out from now on.

Today was much more productive, as I found the bolts this morning and got the bed removed without too much trouble.

Thanks to all for the replies. :)

Tim
