For those of you that are more experienced; does outboarding leaf springs reduce or increase spring flex and wheel travel? My logic (or lack there of) would lead me to believe that it reduces it, but I may be wrong.
I'm building a stripped and gutted Ranger on fullwidth axles with leafs on the front and back. I'm looking to go crawling with it and I'm looking to use as many junkyard parts as possible (Chevy leaf springs mainly.)
Thanks for any help in advance.
Fred
Also, since I have your attention; I'm not looking to lift the truck. What front leaf springs would you recommend? Front axles is a D44HP, rear is a Ford 9", truck will be very light (no glass, no wheelwells, maybe no bed, 302 V8, NP435, NP205)
