Newbie: Durango question. What year is best?

Sold my Jeep YJ. Needed something bigger for the family. I heard the Durango's are built good from stock. 5.9 motor, 9.25 axle, 244 transfer case, 3.92 gears.

I will be using this for offroad.

What years are the good ones?

Thanks

I thought I heard the motors were bad. Something about throwing a rod. So, the 5.3 or the 5.9 then

Straight axle on the front or IFS?

Ya, that's what I thought too. Seems to have better stuff than the cherokee out of the gate

My question is about offroad.

I am sure a mod will come shortly and move it to keep the hall monitors from getting upset.

Look you stupid fuck, YOU didn't read the sticky, posted by the moderator, that clearly says posts like yours do not belong here. If anyone is a 12 year old, it would be you since you can't follow simple instructions. Either that or you are just a fucking idiot. So go fuck yourself with your dumbass questions about an SUV you obviously know nothing about.

Don't think any dodge other than 1 st gen and older RAM's had solid axle. Did you search for anything? Or should I break out the baby spoon?

I don't have any. Although wife is needing some for the grandkids. So break them out and search.

He's talking about full size trucks. No Durango has a solid front axle, all are IFS.
