2nd gen 4runner - Inner fenders?

I'm about to start trimming fenders on a 1990 4 runner to fit 38's for a $300 weekend beater. Going to tub the firewall, do a t-bar crank, and hack like mad. I've searched a lot, but haven't found anything on the front inner fenders. There's a lot of shit to move around attached to these fenders, do most just weld the inner fender back on higher up? Pictures of inner fenders on a truck that's seen LOTS of trimming would be appreciated.
