Friend of mine has one, but its only good for what it says, works good for bending up custom brackets, tubing is out of the question though.

If you get on their mailing list you can find that bender on sale about twice a year. We have a local store here and I got the one that mounts on the floor for about 60$ (about 90$ off), just because it was a deal and I couldn't pass it up. Have seen the table mount one for $60 also. Haven't even opened the box yet. Picked up their 10 ton porta power the same way for under $100. The porta power comes in handy every once in awhile. Its all brand x made in China stuff but then again I don't use it day in, day out.

Those are for bending small solid rods and flat bars. Not a possibilty to make a tube/pipe bend. There is one that will make a bend, but it's a PITA, and the bends don't come out to good. Some people have figured out ways to make OK bends, though. It's a hydraulic 12 ton bottle jack type thing. PN 32888
I'm trying to make bumpers with this before JV. Search the Toy or Gen forums. There's been some good discussionon these. |
