i need somebody around the city of Livermore that REALLY knows these engines. have taken it to several mechanics and they have no idea. thanks, chris

it starts fine when cold, but then when you drive it and gets warm, and let it sit for about an hour, it is hard to start. sometimes it doesn't start at all.

Have you tried the Ignighter? I know sounds stupd, but I had a truck that after it got warm it wuold not want to start and would act like a vapor lock. I changed Coil/Ignighter and it went right away.

Do you have an extra? How close are you to Sac? I have about 3 or 4 you can have one of you come pick it up.
