I just purchased a set of Chevy Dana 60 spindles and tried them out on my Dana 60 which is a kingpin HP with Chevy knuckles. Much to my surprise and frustration I found that the 6 bolt pattern on my knuckles is not the same as the 6 bolt pattern on the spindles.

What is wrong? Four of the bolts match up but the other 2 are askew. The bolts on the knuckles are not evenly spaced like on the spindle. Are there 2 different spindles for 6 bolt patterns?

Have you tried rotating the spindles? I know on my Ford outers the bolt pattern is not symmetrical, maybe GM stuff is the same.

You just have to get the right combo is all. The holes are set so they only go on one way so you have 6 combos to work with but only one works.

I've tried all 6 combos on both sides and no go. 2 of the holes don't match up with the bolts.
