i have a 2000 ranger,sas, soa yada yada... i would like to step up the rear axle, but slections are pretty crappy bc i need something with a VSS tone ring.... anybody know how to bypass this so that i could use a full-floating dana 60 in the rear? i only ask bc my friend is gonna give me one for cheap if i can run it.

The tone ring is usually for ABS not VSS. But perhaps Fords are funky.

solidaxledurango has a 60 from dyantrac with VSS in it.
