Rebuilding A TF 727

HI
The next shop project I would like to take on is rebuilding my tranny. It is a TF 727 that is bolted to a 318. I was wondering if anyone has ever done these before. I would like to make it slightly built if I could. I was thinking a B&M shift kit and maybe that whole trans pak that they offer. What other mods can be made to make the tranny more durable. Also I have never rebuilt a tranny so... am I dooming myseslf. I have decent mechanical skill. I have two other trannies that all have somthing wrong so I think I'll just pull those apart to see what I'm dealing with. I have read a few sites on the net but only one had pics . I guess my biggest question is what can I do to beef it up.

Thanx alot.
