Aftermarket fenders

Anyone ever use the aftermarket CJ fenders for the 76-86 model years? How are they? Is the metal thinner? do they suck to mount? What company is the best? I'm trying to decide wether to save the originals or just replace them.

They are thinner, the mounting locations are not perfect and they are made from recycled steel.
Japan parts is where I got one for $99.
I may lack much in way of integrety but I make up for it with pure denial.

I put a set on 10 years ago. They were not painted and on for more than a week and the inner fender well spot wells came loose. Had to pop rivet them back on.
