HF tail pipe expander?
I need to flair some 2 1/4 OD exhaust tube to 2 1/4 ID for slip fit unions. Do these work like they're supposed to?

They work fairly well. Make sure you can clamp the exhaust pipe down really tight (without crushing it) before you start. If you are only going to use it once, AutoZone loans them out.

No problem. The work great to expand it a little, but not too much. For what you need it should work great.
They also work great to make it round (in case you clamped it too tight and distort it). |
