can anyone tell me what the largest tire size you can run w/D44s. I am wanting to get the chrome molly axle shafts w/ctm's and would like to get 38's but I don't want to be breaking outters all day long. will that setup work? thanks

What's your motor? Looks like your running some serious gearing to them. I'd think it would hold up fine assuming your not running a "hot" motor.

I punish 37's w/ the 4.3 & 4.89's on a Warn/Superior/CTM combo on the rocks; holds up like a champ!

D44 Spicer axles wiht a barely running 6 cyl and 38.s SX's

Should be able to hold up if you get the warns and CTMS

SUPERIOR and CTM's all the way dude. Here is a link to a post in Vendors fourm I started back in May. The free freigth thing isn't going on anymore but if you go ahead with the ctms and the superiors I will give you a nice break.................
