Yet another Dumb -Ass Noobie Hummer Wheel Question
Ok, I'm looking at at putting a 14Bolt rear axle in with the 3/4 ton 8 lug rotors and the 1/2 ton calipers or the Cadillac calipers. And I'll be chaging my front knuckles to the D44 8 lug Ford outers.
I am looking at getting a set of Hummer wheels. Will these fit with no problems? My concern is the amount of backspacing, with 7" or so of backsapcing will there be any clearance issues with a hi-steer set up on the knuckles and the back spacing of the rims? I know, I know, I could get custom centers if an issue arises, but I'd like to find out first hand if anyone has had any issues with a set up likt this. I am thinking that clearance issues with steering components, hi-steer arms, drag link, and the tie rods would not be an issue. But since there has been such a large amoutn of custom centering for Hummer rims going on, I was wondering if clearance would be an issue. Thanks.

Ok, so after updating the title of the thread to Yet Another Dumb-Ass Noobie Hummer Questions , I'm hoping to get some idea hear. However, I am thinking that there will be clearance issues with stock Hummer wheels, and a hi-steer set up.
