Full Hydro on Dana 60

Wanting to run full hydro steering on my front chevy dana 60 front axle. What type of steering arms would be best for the tie rod? Would it be better to mount it in front of the axle or behind the axle? Plan in running this on a Jeep commando.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

Keep your eye on the general discussion forum, and watch for BillaVista posts.

He is currently sorting through various full hydro on a chevy 60 issues, and once he is done he will have out a very detailed article. Right now he is being delayed by the extra complexity in his system due to the use of hydro boost brakes - at least that's the way it looks at this moment.

Anyway, he has a chevy 60, will be doing full hydraulic, did a TON of research before embarking on current path. He will have experience with a couple of different steering arms (look on the tech pages for his OTT arm write up), not sure at this point which arms he is going to use permanently.

I've seen the sull hydraulic in action, and it is really cool, even when it isn't working 100%.

Hope this helps.

Yep, read the stuff he has posted up on the tech forum, lots of good info. I was hoping that someone on here had already done this and was running it. Well I'm in no big rush, so I will just sit back and see what happens with his setup.

Thanks for the response.
