i play upright bass in rockabilly bands. if you are thinking anything else get some help ![]() ![]() and just cause you see other people with them doesn't make them right. look how many lunkheads have huge blocks on the trucks? i've seen them, just wondering if i made them strong enough that it would work the same. i bent my lowers(1.75 .250''wall) for clearnace they had gouges from rocks, etc and never folded on me, but a buddy with a similar setup just folded one of his. if you put a bend in them you better brace them(giving up some of the clearnace the bend created)
