s10
A friend of mine has a 2000 s10 4x4 truck, and her front passenger side wheel beearing is going bad and need replacement. Is this just a unit bearing, where it just bolts up or is it pressed into place. Just wondering if I could do in my garage with basic tools and save her some money, plus bonus points for me. Thanks in advanced.

/out of my butt...
If it's similar to the other GM IFS trucks I've worked on, it's a unit bearing, no big ass press required. A bench vise is nice to have on hand, but you shouldn't need it. You do have to take apart most of the IFS on that side to get at it, make sure you've got twice the time you're estimating. Good luck, hope I'm right. -Nate
