RC/HP/d60...from the late 60s?

read the d60 pages...and the d60 tech stuff...and followed all the links...and didnt see anything about late 1960s (probably a '69) reverse cut high pinion d60 fronts from fords...lemme guess, there's a reason for this? dont have pics yet (might not til spring anyway), anything anyone knows about that particular d60? it just seems too easy that it'd be the same as this but ten years earlier...or is the seller of the axle i'm looking at mistaken regarding the year? i could probably answer most of these q's myself with photos, but i figure someone here might know and save a friend from trudging through several feet of snow at -5*F to dig up a potential wild goose chase.

There was no RC 60's in 1969. Maybe someone swapped it into an older rig and the new owner thought it was stock.
