Engine Swap
I was thinking about doing a full engine/drivetrain swap into my 77 FJ40. I was thinking about swapping in a Toyota 3.4 V6 engine and auto tranny. What would I need to complete the swap? I have a good lead on the engine/tranny/tcase. Engine is pretty much complete. Firt engine swap I'm trying so I really don't know what other items I might need. I'm assuming the main computer and the computer for the tranny (it it's seperate like my 22RE's auto. What else should I be looking for to complete the swap?

Personally I would look in to a small block chevy th350/205or203 combo! stronger, cheaper, and a lot less headach's
The cool factor of the 3.4 vs strength and reliability of a 4.3 or a small block chevy! just my $.02

For the 3.4 you'll need the enitre wiring harness. Would really help to have the donor truck. Gonna be a pain in the ass for a motor thats not all that powerful.
