AX 15 questions

I was told to use dex 3 atf in my 5 spd. I know they use that in ford t5's hopefully that was the right stuff. Also the drain and fill plug are a 5/16 extension square just fyi. I tried a 1/2 day making a tool, the right tool helps.

My drain and fill are 15/16" hex head on my ax15. Also your suppose to use a GL3 gear oil. Redline MT90 or pensoil syncromesh. GL4-5 eat the brass syncros. I have never heard of running ATF in one.

Only use AFT in the T-case, provided you still have a NP231. The AX-15 uses gear lube.

As like YJ4ROX stated, it's a hex plug to fill on a square drive!
