Jeep Cherokee tow hooks for front
Anybody got a cherokee with the tow hooks on it? I bought a set of hooks at Advance, came with the nuts and bolts but where do they go? Ive seen them before under front bumper. I looked and cant see where theyre gonna go. Can I put them on back? Jeepjamboree says you need them. I may want to do that sometime and will help me if I burry it stuck

since I had my fun w/ you earlier I'll help as you figured out correctly which forum you needed to post in.
On an XJ there is a bracket kit you either need to get from your dad or pick-up used somewhere that ties into the unibody and bumper mounts which the tow hooks attach to.

Hmm, my hooks didnt come with brackets. Guess I thought that would be on. I will see if my dad can get them for me at the dealer. Thanks for the tip, I hope the hooks I bought fit these Jeep brackets? |

www.rustysoffroad.com I'm sure there's more, but I've been out of the XJ world for a few years. Supposedly, the Mopar brackets are the strongest.

You can look on e-bay, likely some listed on there. The axles are stock width and the front is a POS D30. It may just look wide because it has toothpick sized tubes
