WTF? is this winch? Anyone heard of it no anything about it?

Give me the scoop on it? A buddy of mine just found it today and I never heard of it?

Interesting that the winch up for auction is not the same one in the Jeep pic.

It is a Chinese made copy of a Ramsey winch. I have heard that the manafacturer upgraded the newer units by replacing the plastic parts that fail on units from last year. Make sure the unit you are getting is the upgraded one, and not the old model. That way it will be ok for a while, but remember that you can't expect it to be as long lasting as a nice Ramsey or Warn. Also, the upgraded units are on sale at Harbor Frieght.

That is the same winch that HF sells, isn't it?

Either way, less than $400 for a 9000lb winch is a pretty good deal.

Anyone ever seen these winches?Just like the old Desert Dynamics winches they just look very heavy.

the HF unit is a 8000LB ramsey, usualy for $279, I highly doubt it is the same as that one.

those peirce winches are awsome, my uncle has a 12k on his landcruizer and he has abused it like crazy, he uses the winch to make up for stock drivetrain and tires
