Actually, I just said that because you posted in all caps, which is generally considered annoying and yelling.
IF it is a real early (you didn't say what year) D60 it will have coarse spline axleshafts which will essentially make the whole assembly garbage. Find out what it came from exactly and I'm sure we can help you out. |

i found out that
it has a broken shaft he was running 38 with a nine" and keeped rolling housings, shafts, etc. put this in and got rear ended and broke the shaft.I am planning on getting aftermarket shafts but the power lock is brand new
how great is a power lock should i just end up swapping carrier and shafts or leave it alone

Don't think of it as a D60, but a D44 with a stronger R&P!

been searching
i am going to check the bom tomarrow 603043 is 69....-5 is 3.54 detroit no spin
-6 is 4.10 detroit no spin -1 open and all others are powerlocks the guy I might be buying from says it works great and got the rear end rebuilt with dana specs( ford people) it only barely unlocks around corners. My problem is does it have small bearing ends or will this thing hold up alright with 38's 4.88 and an axle snapping straight 6 i havent had a problem with my 8.8 detroit with 4.56 except i am worried about my saftey with c-clip axles but I am only running 35"krawlers

your worried about the C-clips breaking on a 8.8?(they don't it's only a jeep thing)
but yet you want to swap in another C-clip axle, with smaller shafts, less ground clearance, and the same pinion diameter... hmmm..
