HP Dana 44 and Ford 9" Price
I found an F-150 custom with a HP Dana 44 front and a ford 9" rear in a junkyard. The guy wants $500 for the pair. Is this a good price? The odometer says 61k, but I would bet its more like 161K because it is a late 70's model. There is no rust on the axle tubes/diff, lots of oil on the front axle(engine oil) It's gonna need new brakes... What do you think?

100-200 for a 44 front, 9" NO more than 100. This is in NC and about the same at most yards if they know YOU KNOW what you are doing.
