a simple YJ with 1/2Ton Brake Question
I have a 93YJ w/ HP44/9" with 1/2T brakes and 11" drums. New cylinders/calipers. After researching I read that I am able to keep the stock MC and having decent braking power. I've done the two man bleeding brake way and gravity bled them.
I had nothing after an hour and a half doing the two man bleeding, so I did gravity bleeding the whole evening. Now my pedal gets firmer, but once i run the engine it goes straight to the floor w/out any resistance. even after numerous pumps.
I haven't done anything involving brakes (obviously), so what is this a sign of? I just have more air in the lines and continue to gravity bleed it? I need this Jeep to take me to WA this weekend, so I need to keep my stock MC.
