Yukon axle shaft/ u-joint
I am installing new 760x ujoints with Yukon 4340 dana 30 shafts. The u-joint caps on the inner shafts are not sitting flush with the ouside of the axle shafts (like the old did). The u-joint clips are flush against the inside of the axle shaft

why the fuck would the outside of the cap matter? if you put it together, and both inside clips go on, the outside obviously does not need to be flush with the yoke ears. matter of fact, I can;t recall ever seeing one that was. brian.

I have the same shafts Yukon 4340 inner and USA Alloy outers in mine with the 760-x joints and the caps stick out a bit. It's not a big deal. I just got back from a weekend of wheeling in Moab and they still look fine.
One more thing buy a red star.
