How to tell the size of your U-Joints

Ok, just a quick tidbit, I need to know how to measure these suckers so that I can tell if my what T-case will directly interchange with mine. I need to know if I have a 1310, 1330,1350, whatever, is there a serial number I can look at.

My current T-case is an NP208 btw.

take the ujoint caps off and measure the od length from trundle to trundle. [the greasy wieners that the cap sit on]

1310 = 3.10" and so on

what truck is it in?? 208 went in some 1 ton chevys and they should have a 1350, all others should be a 1310

Towards the middle of Billavista's 60 bible, they list the different u-joints and all the measurements.

going from memory but I believe the 1310 is 3.25" from cap to cap if you are looking at a yoke or joint that is bolted up.
