How much is this worth??
I'm debating on selling my 89 to build a Tahoe/Yukon. 1989 K3500 reg cab long box, 454TBI runs perfect, TH400, works perfect as well, need to put a rear seal and pan gasket, but doesn't leak much, div. 205, 1350 yokes on in/outputs, GM Dana 60 front, all rebuilt, have but not installed 4:56s and a Traclok, 14ff out of a 92, have but not installed Detroit and 4:56s, ORU SAS kit, crossover steering, 4" springs of some manufacture, shackle flip rear. Sits on 36 SXs on stock GM 8 1/4" wheels. Right now there are 3:73s. Not alot of need around here for super steep gears, 4 low is fine. I have the reluctor ring for the 205, but I think the tailshaft where the sensor goes in is specific to the 91 205. The body has some battle scares, but it's a 4wd truck, who cares. I'm just wondering what a fair price would be, dunno, $4k and drive it away?? Pics of it are in my sig....Truck is currently on the road, waiting for the title from DMV.

That truck has some good parts, but I still have more good parts too. But the 454 is no biggy, have access to a bunch, I have a 550 468 out of my car that I could use, bout the only other good thing is the front 60, of which I have a HP60, and I can easily find more of each, which I could buy if i sell this truck. I'm by no fuking way a pavement pounder. I'm not a balls to the wall, foot to the floor driver, I don't believe in beating the shit out of something. The truck is on the road, and would drive it more, but still have some bugs that I need to work out. I'm not 100% sure I want to sell this. I *might* be getting a different job that is about 30 minute drive. Right now I can almost coast to work, it takes 2-3 minutes, 5 if I hit the red light. I drove this truck for a little road trip, and though it wasn't bad, just not something that I would want to drive for a long period of time. I'm not even gonna mention the gas part....Like I said, not sure if I want to sell it, have a bunch of ideas going in my head, and I really want to do to a Yukon/Tahoe what I did to this. Just wanted to know if this was worth it or just a pile of shit. Thanks for the 2 bits tho!!

That sounds like a good price to me.. You shouldn't have much trouble selling it..

4 grand!?!? Hell, I'd take it if I was looking and you weren't half way across the country! If I were you, I'd hold on to it, install the axle goodies, and have a blast!
Anyway, I'd say that's a real decent price. That truck would probably bring $6K around here if the body is decent and it runs and drives well.

The body isn't decent. There is zero rust, but it's not decent. Had a couple trees run out in front of me, luckily I swerved and they hit the side. The only way that I would be able to sell this is if I sold my other truck too. For some reason NOBODY wants that truck. There is nothing wrong with it, but people think it's the devil or something when you say it has a 454 in it. (All my vehicles, now all trucks, have 454s in them). Anyways, I think I will keep it, finish what I started, and have fun with it. I really want to take it to Paragon before it gets too cold, and see what I/it can do. Need to get the locker in there first.....

The Devil you say? Hell, if you wanna drive it half way across the country, I'd take my chances with it if the price was right and the Rat was healthy!
I'm used to vehicles that seem to be possesed by Satan! Anyway, anything bigger than a 350 is gettin' hard to come by around here, esspecially BBCs. I've got a 400 (SBC) in mine, and I've had people want to buy that off of me! It is a runner however...If the body's kinda trashed, it's hard to say what it's worth without looking at it but still, you've got some good crap in that puppy.

The body was pretty much shot when I got it. It was an old land fill truck that got used and abused. It was sitting a in a field for at least a year and a half. They said the front end was wore out, that the holes were oblonged from abuse and lack of maintianance. When I started to tear it apart, the holes were fine, just the b/js were about ready to fall out. I kinda wish I knew that I would have drove it for awhile. Anyways, the box has stress and fatique cracks in it, the fenders and doors are dented, the cab is about the only thing that is beat, but there is a nice dent in the pass cab corner. I was pissed off at it and everything when I posted this thread, and the only way that I was gonna sell it is if I sold me other truck too. But since I had sooo many people beating down my door about it, think i'm just gonna keep them both for now. I started to order parts for the SAS in the 97, so hopefully in a couple months I will my 60 in the front of that.
