mini-monster truck

This is kinda wierd topic, but has anyone built there own mini-monster truck. I am considering starting my own after college. So far I want a low CG decent power to weight ratio and a high/low range selectable drive. I have looked around but I need some ideas for motor/tranny/tcase, or whatever else is applicable. I want to be as small as possible as far as the frame length and width are concerned, but i would like to run mid-size truck axles for the width. Thanks for any inspiration, Skeeter.

yeah i know rock crawlers are small, but i am looking for something with a slightly different flair. In the area of the country i am from rock crawling is seldom spoke of. I am planning something similar to a one seater rock competition rock crawler, only with a little more emphasis on handling at higher speeds (not high speed, but more than crawling) and balance if any air born adventures occur. I do agree rock crawlers are very similar to this, but I want little different setup. skeeter

Lots of people on here have built Buggys.
I plan to build my own one day.
