kingpin vs. balljoint

well not much to say, title says it all.

but if you all havent heard yet im swapping ou tmy hp d44 for a d60 and i was wondering if going to kingpin would be a good idea. truck will be seeing more trails then street. just give me some info or something on what you think is better.

A lot of people like Kingpin, and a lot like ball joint. Kingpin axles are not made anymore, just ball joint. From what I've heard, both are comparable in strength, but personally I like the Kingpin. That is what I have on both of my D60s.

good to know they dont make em anymore, im not buying a new one tho. im still searching for a d60 in the pick-n-pulls and ive found a kingpin just didnt think it was worth pulling but im running outa time so i was just gonna take the kingpin so i came here for advise

KING PIN all the way...stronger, easy to service, more likely to find parts on the trail and better steering arms.

around here nobody really goes for the d60's, they all want the 44's cuz they are jeep guys ill be going back for it probly. plus its still winter so no one in their right mind will be out on the ground anytime soon. the pick-n-pull is nothing but mud

with the kingpin axle it will be wayy easier to do a solid high-steer setup that will be farther up than if you did a balljoint axle. so KINGPIN!
